Pedro Alvarez is a senior at Texas A&M University who was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement upon returning from a birthday trip to Mexico. Pedro had received written consent from his probation officer to leave the country for the weekend. He was on probation for a minor offense, but had been complying with all of his PO’s directives, which is why his PO allowed him to go on his trip.
Pedro is a devoted student, son, and he is working hard to be able to secure his Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He is a member of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc’s Delta Chapter, a service/social fraternal organization that devotes itself to community outreach and service efforts to assist the most vulnerable populations.
Pedro is in need of our help, now more than ever. Pedro’s family is working hard to secure legal representation for him. With Pedro detained, they are also needing assistance with those legal expenses as well as covering Pedro’s day to day expenses, such as his rent for the month of October for his apartment in College Station. As you all can imagine, these costs are not affordable.
Please support in any way you can. We, and Pedro will greatly appreciate it!
